Kicking off...

A blog for Team Cambridge's Knitting Olympics...

Here's a button, first of all...

I'm hoping this actually comes out at the original size...

This is a space for people to post. If you have a blog, let us know about it and we can put it in the sidebar for people to check; if you don't please post here with achievements/sights seen/interesting facts/finished projects/life events... To become a member, leave something in the Comments section - you'll have to join Blogger to do that, but they really don't want that much personal information - and you'll get an invite.

I found out about the knit olmypics from "the crafty otter", then promptly forgot about it, however she mentioned it in a group email this morning and I got of my backside and did something about it.

My piece is not challenging in terms of pattern, but it is bizarre type of wool that I haven't used and with two small children fitting it in is a challenge too!

So, I'm knitting a tank top for my baby, it's official colour is wisteria and it's in a fluffy stretchy bitty wool, I'm using a pattern from a Debbie Bliss book, but as always it is for a different yarn, so I'm reshaping it as I go.

This morning I knitted at the Meadows Community Centre, I wonder how many other places I can do it!
