June knitting dates for Cambridge and Ely

The knitting dates for June are set out below.

As always everyone is welcome to come to any session they fancy.

ELY

Every Thursday 7pm - 9pm, The King's Arms, ELY.

CAMBRIDGE

Saturdays

2-4pm, Granta Lounge, ground floor, University Centre, Granta Place, off Mill Lane, CAMBRIDGE. 

The bar is no longer serving, but we collect drinks from the Cafe on the top floor and use the bar space.

Knitting in Public at Waterbeach Feast

8th June 2013, from 12:30pm.  

Bring something to sit on (folding chair or blanket); we will be by the fenced off arena area, at the end near the children's rides.  The brass band is usually on from 1pm or so, and the Parade leaves the school at 2pm and gets to the Green around 2:15pm.  Drinks are available from the pub and the local shops, and there are burgers, sausages and (usually) wood-fired pizza available; if you have special dietary needs it might be worth bringing a picnic!  Contact liz AT lizmarley DOT co DOT uk or PM greensideknits on Ravelry for a street address in case it's tipping down when you arrive - we'll decamp to Liz's dining room if the weather turns nasty.
