Hi claire here. I am having a glove crisis. Suprise suprise i don't understand my pattern Can someone please help. I have knitted the theumb no probs and i am on the next bit. Here is what the pattern says:
SHAPE HAND - return to sts at base of thumb and. with RS facing, pick up and knit 3 sts from base of thumb, K to end 42sts.
I understand RS but i don't have sts at base of thumb so am presuming it is like a sock you pick the loops up. At the moment on the two needles i have 37 sts so if i picked up 3 that wouldn't be 42. I'm so clueless help.
I understand that it is probably easier to get help when you can see what ive done but thought id give this a whirl :)
