Extra June knitting date

There's a fifth Tuesday this month - so if anyone's around, we'll be meeting at the Cambridge Blue on Tuesday 30th June, 7-9pm. Hope to see you there.

The knitting dates for July are as follows:

Thursday 2 July

Tuesday 14 July
7-9pm, Granta Bar, ground floor, University Centre, Granta Place, off Mill Lane, CAMBRIDGE

Thursday 16 July
7-9pm, The Lamb, ELY

Saturday 18 July - note location
2-4pm, Grads Cafe, third floor, University Centre, Granta Place, off Mill Lane, CAMBRIDGE

Tuesday 28 July
7-9 pm, Cambridge Blue, Gwydir Street, CAMBRIDGE

I thought that you would like to know that the Coral Reef is coming to Cambridge. The organisers are trying to start up more crochet coral workshops around the country in schools and galleries starting with the Fitzwilliam.

The workshops will be on July 4:

Darwin - Coral and Crochet!

Two sessions 11.00 - 13.00 & 14.00 - 16.00

Admission is free

It would be great if any of you would like to come. If any one would like to help teach others would be appreciated - but of course you don't have to.

Jackie currently sends out the email information once every month (and it will then also be uploaded to the blog and Ravelry - see below). If you find out about something that you think others would be interested in please let her know by (about) 20th of the previous month ( jackie AT rippeth DOT org.)

You may find that other people arrange additional activities which will not have been included in the email or the blog. To be fully up to date, the Knit Cam group at http://www.ravelry.com/groups/ktog-cambridge-uk is the best place to go.

Lace workshops in June and July

Mary (chemchik) has offered to repeat the lace workshop she gave last summer - thanks, Mary!

The dates are June 27th and July 4th, 2-4 pm (ish), lots of space left, no charge.
